I know for a fact the the Cricket is supremely happy with the decision he's made. AS was the PERFECT job for him and his family. Its great when you can mesh those two aspects of life together.
As an ANC based and ANC local guy, he's got the best of both worlds with big leaps in base seniority as icing on the cake.

Then I guess the Coast Guard pilot who had a CJO from Delta last year, but then had it rescinded due to the psych stuff, was lying ... Or not! At least we hired him!

Get dinged by the psych, you get put in a holding pattern. Then a board, made up of pilots, reviews everything and makes the final decision.

Being this is the only open communication source for Alaska Pilots that I'm aware of, Can we get this back to Alaska Airlines issues please? No Alaska Pilot gives a damn about Delta. I know that doesn't comport with the delta world-view, but it's true. There's plenty of Web Board space for deltas guys to go pleasure themselves in...take it somewhere else. 😁

I know one person who was told to wait for a phone call later that day, but as far as I know he rotted around all day for nothing. The goat rope job fairs are ridiculous. All of the hoops to jump through just to maybe get an interview....man the things we do to chase a buck. Pilots are crazy...myself included
