By posting stories that put other airlines in a bad light? Positively negative reinforcement of his decision.

Cricket has a hard on for Delta. And, as a new hire, he takes it upon himself to be the squeaky wheel. It's cute.

I guess you should get your facts straight before you post here, too, eh?
Considering I got 15 years at Delta, I'd say your Coastie friend got his facts wrong. GucciBoy got it right. The pilots just accepted the psych's reccommendation. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. It just depends on the rest of the package, how well he did in the face to face and on the knowledge test.

Get dinged by the psych, you get put in a holding pattern. Then a board, made up of pilots, reviews everything and makes the final decision.

Being this is the only open communication source for Alaska Pilots that I'm aware of, Can we get this back to Alaska Airlines issues please? No Alaska Pilot gives a damn about Delta. I know that doesn't comport with the delta world-view, but it's true. There's plenty of Web Board space for deltas guys to go pleasure themselves in...take it somewhere else. 😁

Lots and lots of people standing in line at the Puyallup job fair yesterday. More than 200+ yesterday and over 400+ on Friday.

I had a very positive experience at the Northwest fair and trade show. I'm excited for the opportunities ahead to (hopefully) be a part of the Alaska team.

I've heard that sometimes they ask you to come back for extended interviews later that afternoon. Did you see anyone doing that?

I know one person who was told to wait for a phone call later that day, but as far as I know he rotted around all day for nothing. The goat rope job fairs are ridiculous. All of the hoops to jump through just to maybe get an interview....man the things we do to chase a buck. Pilots are crazy...myself included
