Alaska thread for Alaska pilots...

When somebody told me the news was AAG buying 6 new jets, I foolishly allowed myself to think it was something larger than 737s. I can't say I'm disappointed in finding out it is a purchase for -900ERs but I'm not sure this news equals a net gain of aircraft to the fleet. It seems like the fate of the remaining -400s has been finalized.
On another note, it also sounds like CPDLC has been negotiated for installation into the fleet so bring on more Hawaii routes!

These are all pretty old... maybe if you're a member it opens up more recent ones, I'm not really sure.

I second that Rainier Flight Service in Renton, WA is excellent for Alaska Airlines interview prep. They will do prep for any, but they are geared specifically towards Alaska/Horizon. The 3 pilots they have that do prep all fly for Alaska.
