It seems like the fate of the remaining -400s has been finalized.

On another note, it also sounds like CPDLC has been negotiated for installation into the fleet so bring on more Hawaii routes!

Can anyone recommend a place for interview preparation (gouge) for Alaska Airlines? Thanks so much!

Alaska Airlines Pilot Interview Profiles

These are all pretty old... maybe if you're a member it opens up more recent ones, I'm not really sure.

Wait are you guys qualified and capable of CPDLC?

Delta to begin serving. SEA-OGG, SEA-KOA, PDX-OGG, PDX-KOA and we still wont use CPDLC, but you are right bring on more Hawaii routes

Is Rainier the preferred for the Alaska interview?.. Or are they similar to Cage and Emerald Coast? I have never done an interview prep, however if offered an interview I definitely will be.

So there are 19 new airplanes coming in 2016? How many this year? Will there be pretty sizable hiring for 2016 then?

I second that Rainier Flight Service in Renton, WA is excellent for Alaska Airlines interview prep. They will do prep for any, but they are geared specifically towards Alaska/Horizon. The 3 pilots they have that do prep all fly for Alaska.

Lodi Clark at Airline Pilot Interview Preparation. Simply excellent, 10 hours of one-on-one via Internet chat. I was completely prepared for the interview, which is much more important than any gouge.
