Packrat, your data is a bit dated. The last several position bids have closed with vacancies in all bases.
ANC is easy to get (still junior base) and will result in the fastest climb up the base seniority list
LAX is also available, though growth there has nearly stalled.
Seniority is assigned by age first day of class, so unless you are the baby of the group, your shot at getting a lower 48 base is quite good. Worst case, the following position bid will be a ticket out.
All RSV's sit short call UNLESS they bid for long call line. Buyer beware, you are the first wave out of the trenches and WILL fly significantly more than a short call pilot.
Hiring at full steam, with more to come. Get it while the gettin' good.
At present, a 4 year degree is required.

Absoultly not. A 4 year degree from an accredited university is a must. In fact it's a requirement to even be granted an interview. Continue with your education, get the degree and contunie aqruing flight experience

If your thinking lax, it's great for commuters as new hires anyways. If your in the bottom 15 or so your not senior enough to hold reserve so you'll get a line or open flying, which are all trips too. Bummer is there is little open time to trade with so your kinda stuck with what you get. The all niter stuff also goes fairly senior too. As in GDL MEX
On reserve in lax you'll fly around 20-40 hours. 79 guarantee so it's not that bad of a deal if you live there.

Yes, but....
Our co-terminal language allows for flying out of LAX/BUR/SNA/ONT
RSV's are only responsible for reporting to LAX, and then are shuttled to other airports.
At this point, only SNA has dedicated lines of flying, but no reserve lines.
