After GB's request for us not to wear the transition jacket through the winter, which I find impractical when someone has mostly warm weather layovers, I was surprised he kept it as an option in the FOM.

It's the only coat many have, particularly newer hires from 6 months to a year and a half ago. Once the uniform allowance has been spent, and time for all to get the required pieces.....I'd expect another revision.

Words I heard were hat mandatory in the Apr-May timeframe, and upcoming change for transition jacket to be allowed for a time in spring/fall only with leather jacket an approved option all the time.

Delta didn't want GB, why are we stuck with him and his ridiculous Delta wannabe policies? Delta and Alaska are completely disparate cultures. Does he really need that explained to him?

Its because the Anglers recognize you're in a steel cage death match with Delta. Since Alaska can't offer the scope or frequency of destinations from SEA that Delta can, they're going for cosmetic solutions.

What these guys do are something only a W.D. would come up with. If you can't even manage a 7-11, you are not going to be able to compete against a Walmart.

Gotta love the legacy 900! Left cargo and revenue PAX behind on SEA-FAI. That thing needs to stay between CA & WA, or CA & MEX. How hard is that to figure out? Any idea if they're going to Scimitard that thing? I know they're not on the 700s but not sure of the legacy 900.

The wing structure won't support the tips. That's why they don't even have the first version.

I was referring to the 900s that already have winglets...if they're going to retrofit those few planes.
