In my opinion, which counts for nothing, there shouldn't be a cap to PBP. At least for the profitability portion that accounts for 70% of the payout, why not let it keep going up. What % was Delta's PS this year?

You have to keep the pilot's expectations low. Additionally, you want to make sure the other labor groups don't perceive the pilots "getting more" than they are.

Remember when the PBP for pilots was automatically reduced by 50%? Don't want those stinkin' pilots getting more of the "pie."

I don't think PBP should be capped for any work groups. I think the formula should just include incremental increases in the profit portion that continues on, rather than having a maximum payout profit goal. According to the chart, we made over 3 times the threshold target and exceeded the maximum target by a third. How about a payout that is commensurate with our increased profitability?

And, no, I don't remember when the PBP was automatically reduced by 50%. When did that happen?

Looks like the boys upstairs are starting to get serious about the fight.

Delta payout for 2014 will be 16.4% of earnings. Projection for 2015 is 20% of earnings.

It was quite awhile ago, but it was a big slap in the face to the pilot group. Essentially they told us we were only worth a half share because we made so much money in pay. It was total B.S. At least those days are long gone.

Hopefully you guys will get a nice PBP check this year. From the earnings statements you earned it.

Is that each employee will get16% of your W2? Or do you mean 16% of profit will be distributed?
