Back on track. If you need Kool-aid, go to one of the fairs where you will get a healthy dose. Just don’t ask about the possibility of being furloughed for the recession..

Now it's functional.
If you need directions on how to start a new thread, look for the APC help link.
You guys are the best. Now when do we get DEN as a microbase?

Honestly, I don’t see it anytime soon, or ever. We don’t usually set up in bases that are already held down by other airlines. With Frontier, SWA, and United there, we wouldn’t spend any extra money to compete against them. Plus, the gate fees are just expensive and that goes against the Allegiant growth model

Just checking. So the challenging commute to a microbase is my recipe for success. Understood. Training in Vegas though, right! Party every night.

That was a base, closed in 2005 after a charter contract ended early. I'd say it's unlikely to reopen since we only have a handful of routes, gate space is pricey and it's not an underserved city.

Even 737s they got at a bargain because the line for the NEOs was out til the end of the decade.

You’re theory is based on the belief that JR, as CEO, is gonna talk the board and MG into doing something that goes against everything MG believes in. It’s not gonna happen. As long as MG is chairman and the largest shareholder he is JR’s boss despite JR’s ceo title. MG is still calling the shots.

What in MG’s career makes you believe he’s gonna just give the pilots what they want to get a contract done in the next 1-2 years?? It ain’t happening. We will shrink and maintain monster profit margins compared to the industry because that’s what MG prioritizes and has always done.
yep. This is why I left. Living in a legacy base and only two years into G4 made it an easy decision.

Is furlough the preferred "F" word. I would hate to knock out an A320 type just to get e"f"fed.

With WO regionals offering livable pay. Will Allegiant bump 1st year FO pay above $57?

NO. There is no provision in our contract to allow for 1st year FO pay to be increased. The union, rightfully so will not allow our industry worse 1st year pay to be altered in ANY way. So, factor in Bidenflation you and your family will be living on food stamps. And at the rate of our negotiations don’t expect a change for at least a few years; best case scenario.

Yes they absolutely will raise 1st year pay, whenever we get a new TA many many years from now.
