Anybody else getting any info or updates on the hearing?
I'm getting radio silence from my sources about the hearing. I still cannot believe that we are on our FOURTH negotiating committee since january... Management is gonna get to keep us on the cheap until 2026-2027 without even trying to stall/delay negotiations because of the drama and infighting within the union. |

Based on the Hearing evidence and comments I would find it very unlikely that the Trust ship would not continue. The Old Exco will not be back. As far as them getting fired the union does not have any say in that. They all work for Allegiant not the union. The only option the union could do is have a hearing to remove them from being members of IBT. They would still have to pay dues but would not be able to run for office again or vote. If they did not pay dues then the union could ask Allegiant to let them go per the contract. It would be hard to see a way any of them would get voted in in the future so the time and effort to remove them as members probably not worth it. We will see. Any criminal charges would have to come from the Department of Labor. I would be suprised if any of this would be worth their effort or time either, but you never know. The trusty will be running the union for the next 18th months would be my guess. |

You may be in the ballpark what with having to ramp up yet another NC & the revelation there have yet been no discussions with the co. on pay, scheduling, or retirement. The big ticket sections. Could easily eat up a couple years.

told from a person who was able to listen to the last union zoom: the negotiating committe was replaced AGAIN. Reason was that they "remained loyal to AR". Company sent email saying 2 more sections were done, union says that is no longer the case. Since i dont have anyone's name, whoever sat across from Uncle M agreed to forced upgrades and cell phone tracking along with having to download company programs on your personal devices. I have no idea what all the big brains at Teamster's National think, but this has to be the biggest poison pill I've seen as a pilot. No company that actually wanted a contract would push for that, has to be like a 99% no vote on any of those. Best guess, since Boeing is having so many issues, no contract is needed. Leverage is lost, company can sit tight filling classes with CFIs and FNs with the empty promise of a retention bonus that most likely wont be seen for several years. Hope I am wrong, and good luck

At this point, in the clown show, I'm not holding my breath for a contract. I thought we were going to have a TA to vote on last year. Now...I just want to see AR off the seniority list ASAP!

I would hope the Department of Labor wouldn’t be to lazy to prosecute the guy who single handily destroyed this union group. The unions money shouldn’t be an eccentric persons piggy bank.

Those Fedex love notes with the proposed T&C's they sent 18 months ago aren't looking so bad now.

Leverage is gone, filling classes, still all the tough sections to go, sentiment is growing to rewrite work rules line-by-line. I'm back to predicting 2026 or later.

Robles failed miserably. Has "leverage" been lost?, maybe, but only if the majority of the pilot group wants to bite the hand that feeds them. The MAJORITY OF THIS PILOT GROUP DEMANDS THESE THINGS... 1- INDUSTRY STANDARD PAY FOR A319/320 2- INDUSTRY STANDARD LTD 3- INDUSTRY STANDARD DC 401K 4- INDUSTRY LEADING SCOPE 5- INDUSTRY STANDARD MIN DAY GUARANTEE 6- INDUSTRY STANDARD DUTY RIG KEEP ALLEGIANT WHAT MAKES ALLEGIANT. BUT COMPESATE YOUR PILOTS ACCORDINGLY!!!! You CANNOT FU*** PILOTS FOR FREE. Keep your business model, but don't think for one second that it will WON'T COST YOU. Wanna keep your business model? Pay up! Because without paying, it's straight up abuse!!! |
