duh… that’s the survey that hurt JR’s feelings. If they were to do another survey just one month later pilots would be even more fed up with the union because now MG and his cronies dream is a reality: we are in a recession, and nobody takes advantage of a recession better than MG

It’s quite sad. I’m sure Tommy Boy doesn’t remember the “transparency slate” (pretty funny they ran on that) claiming they’d go in and lay the hammer down on the company and have us a TA by years end (2024). They lost, but somehow they ended up in power and here we are… 2025, with no end in sight

you see management is offering early outs to flight attendants? If they offer something to us then you know things are really going south.

This is fact. I haven't said or shared what I've heard, but it seems to be "out". So I'll say, that appears to be the plan. The only thing I'm curious on, is that if THAT is the goal, what changed? GU said last year and in a recent membership meeting that wasn't on the agenda, or that he wasn't interested in that. So what changed?

IMHO, this is the hail Mary attempt to lock something down? But why do this, on his way out? He's not going to be here soon. So is he being pushed into this? Or is he trying to "punt" the ball and let the incoming leadership deal with this. The reality is that our team has pushed themselves into a corner by refusing to do comprehensive passes. Now I now, that's a controversial topic to many. But I'll say it again... AR, left this pilot group in a very, very weakened barganing state. The new NC comes in, and now has to work a MIRACLE to salvage things and save face. They're not willing to "roll over" which is fine, no one is asking for that. But basically anything they could do at any point in time for the last few months would be seen as a "roll over". Leverage has evaporated, and now GU has taken over negotiations and is trying to do what he thinks is best to salvage as much as possible.

Can it work? Maybe... but odds and the way things are aligning, it seems that all the company has to do is something(s) to show that they cannot move forward unless section 3 and maybe 1 are put forward. It's going to come down to who can make their case to the NMB. It's why I've repeatedly said, April mediations will dictate, or set the tone for what's coming. 3 more weeks and we'll know.

I thought Tom said it “takes as long as it takes” though? That we would never “settle?” I mean, seriously…binding arbitration? Does everyone know how badly we’ll get screwed in this? We won’t even end up with FedEx mailer highlights.

I think you’re being a bit dramatic. Allegiant has put forward many “mailers” so it will be at least the latest mailer if not better.. which tbh isn’t as bad as spending the next 3 years in binding arbitration. If teamsters send us to binding arbitration then it is the death of them

tbh 3 weeks is too long to stay ibt. This move to ALPA needs to happen immediately
