LOL.......

Yeah, it's a real joke how these BS "strike release" rumors keep poppin' up every couple weeks.

News flash: Ain't gonna happen, mostly because GU is not negotiating in good faith.

Come summer, I bet that our union guys will throw the second mediator under the bus and try to get a third one in there.

Same crap, different day...

Actually if they could even do that (highly doubtful), it would put in a FOURTH one in there. I highly doubt the NMB would play along with that. Can't see how you can call for an impasse when other major sections, especially compensation haven't even been open yet.

Thanks for keeping it real. Agree. Maybe the company will just slide over a comprehensive proposal & say “Take it or leave it.” That would be amazing at this point : /

There'd be zero chance we'd be given the opportunity to vote on it. We've completely lost any voice in these negotiations. The company could pass a great proposal and it would never see the light of day.

I totally agree! It feels like the union is saying, "Let’s just throw a tantrum until we get what we want," while the company is over there with a PowerPoint presentation, like, “Look at all these shiny proposals!” It’s like watching a tug-of-war where one side is using brute force and the other is trying to charm their way to victory. Let's hope they can find a way to meet in the middle—maybe over coffee and donuts? That always helps!

God forbid the NC give a counter proposal instead of just saying no and throwing a tantrum. It also doesn’t help when we have no real negotiators in the room. Why would we even consider hiring some consultants to run negotiations when we have these pilots that are experts at it…
