Teamcare administers the plan. They pay a leasing fee for access to the BCBS network.

Latest update from the Union: “We are being super secretive (nothing new) and have still not TAd the section we’ve been working on for a year, due to our inflexibility in negotiating alternative solutions for the company to think about. Stay united and trust us blindly like the previous administration.”

sound about right?

I have to say the company need only look in the mirror.....pilot mistrust is understandable. Failure to follow through with a proper PBS, foisting CBI on us with laughably seniority-violating results, things like for years telling reserves no, a Gold Day does not really mean what it says. I could go on....I always knew the scheduling section was going to be a repeat of WWI trench warfare....

no disagreement here. The part that is hard to grasp for Allegiant pilots is why did it take us over two years of negotiations before we started talking about scheduling?

Again, that is solely the fault of the teamsters. It wasn’t management that insisted on spending nine months talking about union business. That was Andrew and his mob boss ego.

Totally disagree. If the union is solely caught up on having the standard 30-50% industry unstacking then that’s absolutely insane to keep beating the same dead horse, especially when we’re almost 3 contract cycles behind. I don’t want to be like Delta, United, American.

The rumored 50-70% is way better than we currently have (100%) and make them pay for it when they flex up to 70%. Instead we’re trying to change the whole business model that’s going to make us start doing more overnights.

So, here come the unannounced line checks. Does the IBT have an opinion on these? Guess the company & training department are fed up with “senior pilots” f#*+ing up.

I’m honestly starting to wonder if staying here is worth it for our regional airline pay.

Haven’t heard anything about these, but honestly who cares about an unannounced line check? If you can’t pass a line check, you probably don’t have any business flying people around.

Lot of airlines do it this way.....know/follow SOP should be a non-event.

It's not just senior pilots. And anyone who worked for XJT can attest that "no notice" was the norm.
