When the same 20 pilots and management are the only ones screaming and yelling on social media things can sound a certain way that is different then reality.

lol if you think it’s only 20 guys then you’re crazy. You clearly didn’t listen to the last trustee call where everyone ripped into GU the whole time; foreign nationals, LCA, Instructors, normal line pilots, that’s definitely a wide variety of people who are fed up with the almighty force of National IBT. I’m still waiting to see this force to be reckon with that GU and O’Brien promised day 1. All I’ve seen are “experts” in losing terribly in arbritration and inexperienced pilots negotiating a contract against a top law firm in the nation… how does one think we have a chance in hell.

There is some light at the end of the tunnel tho. Nominations and Elections are around the corner, and hopefully we can get good leadership in there to run this local properly with no hidden agendas. There's no real leadership right now. What we basically have with GU is pretty much an administrator helping to get this local back; for that I appreciate his work. But make no mistake, the fact that he is the airline director, he manages other airlines, and is spread thin does allow for things at our local to "fall through the cracks". Biggest casualty? Communications.
Oh, and btw, I've yet to come accross anyone on social media actually "screaming". Let's not do the fake narrative and rhetoric please lol.

Being in a big base & coming into contact with a fairly large number of pilots, I see almost universal agreement with this. What the Teamsters, aided & abetted by a handful of pilots from Destin have done, has been financially ruinous to this pilot group, to an extent that will never come close to being recovered & will have effects reaching far into retirement age for us all.

I've spent countless hours since the last election talking with many pilots from many bases. Not exagerating. And I agree with what you and even Jimmy have said. I talk to people LAS, most want a contract like "yesterday" for the same reasons you stated. Conversations with people in IWA, BNA, AVL, FLL, PGD, LAX... basically the only bases I haven't talked to so far are BLI, PVU and ATW. The rest, it's a good number of people that if they weren't afraid to be called "unsupportive", "sell outs", "not team players", "company plants" and whatever else? They would publicly express themselves more boldly.

Can you imagine IBT up against ALPA in a seniority list integration? IF we end up in the next round of ULCC mergers then goodbye seniority.

I agree, I’m just trying to figure out why we’re waiting? The retention bonus is an MOA which is protected under the RLA. So why sit around for another year while inexperienced pilots negotiate our contract?

It may be good if Allegiant and Breeze tried to merge. We have no CBA but have ALPA. We run the same business model. It would make sense

oh yeah, leased broken 220s are at the top of Allegiants list. If the planes weren’t leased it might be a different story, but the 220 is still too small of a plane
