There's no alpa drive, that failed on the first day. There's no current information, nobody running the drive could be bothered to identify themselves. What do you expect anyone to do?

idk why you keep claiming there isn’t an ALPA drive. It doesn’t have an end date. If enough cards are turned in then it goes to the nmb

Its been 8 months and not one new word from the organizers. The website is inactive.

At AA, the cards had a 12 month expiration. Any cards over 12 months old were tossed. We needed 50% plus 1 in the 12 months for the drive to succeed. Maybe your drive is different, but dont stop trying.

Not entirely sure why some pilots act like the RLA is a mystery. Cards have a 12 month expiration date. All a group would need to do is ensure cards that are expired are resigned, thus restarting the 12 month clock.

A quick google search and subsequent review of the RLA would give you all the answers you seek.

I’m curious about you Tom. In your mind, has the IBT been perfect? They’ve never done wrong by you? Perhaps you’re an individual who was “wronged” by ALPA during previous employment at TWA or ComAir. Nonetheless, I struggle to see given the events of the last year how one can be so pessimistic about leaving the IBT.

I just took a glance at the G4 ALPA site, it’s still active. While there haven’t been any recent communications, there is plenty of good material addressing questions surrounding the topic. To simply state it’s inactive— naive.

If we pilots demand the industry standard contract we deserve, shouldn’t it be negotiated and administrated by industry standard representatives? I really encourage you to look into the experience of Mr. Unterseher and his self appointed team of “experts”.

-What contracts have they been successful with?

-Which of their language has proven to be resilient to the inevitable grievance process?

-Where have they failed and what did they learn?

Rather than be such an emotional being, perhaps take a new approach and ponder our present situation using logic.

LOL at that Chief Pilot update email. When are people going to wake up and realize what a bunch of absolute amateurs we have running the show with IBT? I mean, it’s only our careers and financial well being at stake here. Not like it’s anything major….

this speaks to exactly what bronco was just saying. GU and his experts have 0 real experience. The only real experience they have is thinking they’re so great at binding arbitration

The IBT should be asking for a release immediately. There is no reason to not ask to be released if the company is refusing to negotiate. Absolutely inexcusable to not have a counter after five weeks.

Trump has not replaced all the Democrats at theNMB yet so the teamsters should be using all that DC influence to get us released.

This is assuming that the narrative you’re being fed by the IBT is correct and not spun. I’m starting to find it a little odd (just kidding, it’s been odd since 1224) that it’s always the company’s fault but IBT can’t do anything besides whine to the members.

If things played out like they claim, GU would be screaming and stomping to be released.
