Contract negotiations

I'll apologize in advance to Chapi since I told him I'd butt out but I feel like a reminder needs to go out that Andrew did the same thing during the Rona in one of his videos from the fancy home office where he advocated for an illegal work action. And the company had an sh- fit and IBT had to walk it back. Almost got him fired from the company IIRC.
If a current leader made this rookie mistake again that's unbelievable.
That sort of thing doesn't happen with ALPA because they all get training and the legal team makes sure nobody says anything stupid that could give the company their wet dream of an injunction and hostages taken. I don't understand why Airline Division hires crackpot attorneys and shoots from the hip in official communications. I wonder if the UPS drivers side is more professional.

Wonderful news, we start the lunch hour to an email stating that we now have brought APA 2118 into the 21st century. Our team of experts has developed an app where we can quickly access the most important tools to help guide us in our work as professional pilots: Forum, Documents, Announcements, and a contact list.
The caveat? While facing increasing pressure to produce results, it appears they have only launched the Beta version. To my knowledge, nobody has been able to access the app to this point. Additionally, numerous appear to now be locked out of the website. We’ve already waited 12 months for results from this trustee, when he finally decided to make an effort on delivering improvements, he panicked and provided a half-baked app that reeks of amateur production.
Some features which would have been tremendously helpful:
-Airport Info Tab— Door Codes, Food, KCM Directions, other useful items.
-Jumpseat Guide— who to list on, how to list, when to list, grooming standards, etc.
-Emergency Hotline— A hyperlink that immediately takes you to a call with the emergency hotline.
-Seniority List— A list of active and inactive seniority list members, preferably with an email or phone number (opt in by each pilot).
Oh wait, it’s almost as if this app is already in existence. Just drop the IBT and replace it with ALPA. GASP—the horror.

What a great play from Trustee Unterseher on the resolution for our fellow due paying members who are employed via an H1B Visa. He's using our fellow brothers and sisters as pawns in an effort to increase attrition. "If you need to start looking for a plan, I don't fault you." -Greg on tonights call when telling a due paying member that he has been told to not sign any agreement regarding their futures. Let me make this clear, Greg Unterseher is using due paying members of Local 2118 as pawns in his effort to create leverage that has evaporated on his watch. It is incredibly sickening that he would stoop to this level.

Every FO I fly with, I make it clear just how much money they are losing. When you tell a 20 something year old that each year GU is costing them almost $1,000,000 their eyes get a little concerning. It won’t ever be made up.

I would say he’s going to read this and feel bad, but he’s the type of as*hole who would f*ck over his own family to pick up another dollar.
