Absolutely this! RJ needs to listen to the group, and this is what the group is saying today!

The previous group wasted ALL the leverage. Worse than AR. At this point, most likely what the current group can do is try to salvage some things. The industry is on thin ice for sure with the current state of fuel prices and geopolitics. The azzzz clowns from the prior NC that just left, might find themselves on the street if things worsen. Should've focused on taking offers and making improvements, but they thought they had all the time in the world and could reach an impasse. Absolute failures.

We have been dealt one crap sandwich after another over the past 6 years. The first 3-4 years because the IBT has no oversight and allowed stupidly to reign, and the past 2+ years because their oversight was politically motivated and did not have this pilots group interests at heart. GU was able to find a group of pilots who did as he asked and tossed the rest of us to the wolves. F’k them all!

We will never get back those years, but we can certainly get paid today. RJ needs to stop trying to turn a piece of crap into a diamond and put out for vote what they have now! We need our pay, retirement, LTD, and of course RB. Section 15 can stay the same as far as I’m concerned at this point. It’s going to be a lot easier to negotiate a proper JCBA when at least our pay is where it should be. We can still call in sick, fatigued, or whatever and make our schedules work for us… just like we have been.

We also need to stop helping the company out. We have great on-time because the second the door closes, the brakes get released. Stop that crap and wait until you’re cleared to push. If it’s broke, write it up. We need an entire pilot group of P. W’s who walk around with a monocle.. They do nothing for us and we continue to help them out. It has to stop.

For the record I agree with you, but there is one small problem with your post. CBI is no longer on the table. The "COMPANY" wants PBS to control scheduling, it's part of their cost savings plan. This has been the case for at least 6 months now. Probably longer. So no deal until PBS language sorted. The end

you certainly do not want to rush any part of the contract language. now is the time to get what we want, any subpar language will simply be interpreted in the companies favor and the BS will continue until the next contract is signed in 10 + years.

How about we let the NC do their job? I’m sure the company is loving seeing the desperation from some pilots on here. Nothing anyone says here is going to make a new contract come any sooner. Talk to the NC, post on the internal forum, but leave your frustration with the pace of negotiations and what little you would take out of public view. Don’t let your weakness be our weakness…
