You were just on board with all this a micro-second ago. And because you changed your mind, you expect everyone else to just fall in line with you or suffer your wrath. Be honest.

First the pilot group is a joke, now the union is a joke. There's no pleasing jimmy.

you're pointing something out from over a year ago lol. What has changed in over a year? Not a ****ing thing. Exactly why the union needs overhauled

The pilot group is a joke. To continue down this path over and over is a joke. The company is a joke and the union are a joke.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

Well, that sums up the last 4 years - perfectly.

exactly. Im not regretting my decision to come here years ago but it’s ridiculous to continue to do the same **** over and over and expect something different.

Our trustee constantly has dropped the ball and hasn’t delivered at all on anything he promised. At least with AR he eventually hired a consultant and seemed like we were weeks away from a contract until GU had a power trip

we were absolutely on track to get a contract by May 2024 when the AA guy Owens and the young NC (forget their names) was leading negotiations. GU saw how fast things were moving so he slammed the brakes, fired Owens and replaced the NC.

I saw the text where GU confirmed that Owens was “moving too fast” and failed GU’s loyalty test because Owens “communicated with Bourne” about AR getting burned at the stake by the teamsters.

One wonders if what was on the table then, incl. pay rates, are being pulled back by the co., the world being what it is.

Of course such talk is management speak, we're in the driver's seat, hiring boom 2.0, attrition about to go through the roof, company can't grow, can't buy new planes, our leverage is through the roof, it takes as long as it takes...

etc...
ad nauseam....

I'm not questioning what you're saying, but help me understand GU's motives to slow things intentionally. Wouldn't he want to be the "hero" that got us to the finish line? I'm just a dumb line pilot, so I'm sure I'm missing something with him.
