JR, Adrian, Jay, the rest of the NC, Greg, etc have all been telling us that we are getting released. Management is lying, bad faith bargaining, we are IBT and OBrien has contacts at NMB, etc. we've been told this is a slam dunk release because we've been at impasse for TEN years. I even got the AR talking point about the grievances and the arbitrations.

My question is: what happens if we don't released?

GU asked for release to slow the process down. Look at what he’s done since he’s been here. First mediation they TA’d 3 sections I believe. He fired the hired negotiator.. Nothing for months. The previous mediation they have 2 TA’d sections… not he files for release to slow the process down. He doesn’t want us to have a contract until he’s ready to use it for his personal gain.

We saw this with Southwest in 2023, their request was denied and they had a TA shortly thereafter. I'm not saying we'll do the same but we haven't stopped or slowed negotiations just because we requested a release. There are no negatives to ask. The only move from here is to continue to stay within the narrow RLA mediation lane. If denied continue mediation, reach a TA or get released later.

It does pause and delay in our case because our union is refusing to negotiate further until the proffer is accepted or rejected, and then they’ll come to the table and waste more time.

i dont think we have any more official dates so id say it has slowed down negotiations. the board has no deadline to respond, so hopefully soon.

Nothing meaningful happened in April so likely will amount to a 4-5 month pause. If you're a CA Greg just cost you another fifty grand.

50?! if you’re under 40 it’s probably more like 400k. He’s cost a ton of the younger guys well over a million

This pilot group has had enough.....Teamsters on the ropes.....sign the ALPA card.....force a representation vote....don't believe Greg's lies....we won't lose insurance, won't lose the rb....it's not even gonna hold up negotiations 'cause he created a multi-month lull with the ridiculous proffer.....time for a real union that represents pilots.

He hasn’t cost any Allegiant pilot anything. Allegiant pilots have cost themselves by having made the choice to come to and remain at Allegiant at this point.

It’s a rigged game. MG will never allow a contract to be signed, short of binding arbitration (see Atlas) which is the ONLY possible path to a contract with MG calling the shots. But good luck getting to that point. If you’ve made the decision to be a G4 lifer, you need to accept the fact that you will retire on the current book regardless of your age. Which is fine, time at home is priceless. Just don’t be delusional. It’s not gonna happen. Accept it, or dust off the logbook and move on.

you do know that if we had accepted the mailer offer that MG mailed to our wives back 2.5 years we would have millions more for our retirement. So yes we have lost a lot and it’s pretty easy to quantify - most pilots here have.

MG was begging us to sign it. Was it below market by a lot: of course. Was it insulting? Yes. Could a real union have taken that offer and gotten us within 5-10% of legacy legacy rates? Yes.

what did the teamsters do instead? Just continue to screw this pilot group and use us like pawns.

Did GU talk about any negotiations on the call last night? Any dates? Any news on the proffer? Etc?
