I agree. Time to send in the card.

Yep. Teamsters have been given way too many chances.

They have. Let the chief pilot vs wannabe chief pilot wars begin. Just along for the ride.

here’s some food for thought. The NC LIED to the membership in a February membership meeting. They claimed that unstacking wasn’t a hill they were dying on. Not to mention it had nothing to do with sec 15. That’s what they said.

Yet, after submitting their request for proffer to the NMB, EVERY SINGLE communication from the NC is about how important unstacking is. So what changed? The obvious answer is nothing, except the honest comms from the NC. Like Tom said… we’re not getting released. This is just another stunt to drag this on and move the goal post so this drags on until there’s some sort of leverage.

The NC isn’t in control, we have a very weak chairman that needs to be told what to do; that is obvious. All we are seeing, is a Hail Mary attempt. Trying to get something to stick bc the NC wants their own golden nuggets that THEY THINK we will be grateful.

All that appears to be on display is a desperate attempt by a very weak person to hold on to power and his job. By taking the same play by play strategy as AR. Bet everything on black and hope to deliver a rolls Royce contract even if it’s short lived, to secure a position on the IBT.

Not to mention this is personal for GU bc he got sent to pound sand when he applied for Chief Pilot position at Allegiant apparently. So that’s something that brings up to question, the same guy that hates this management and appears to have a vendetta, applied to be management. This is the same person that is now putting everything on the line in the name of “industry standard” contract, when obviously, it’s about him and the mandate of O’Brien to make the IBTs airline division some sort of gold standard to compete.

so what’s the news on this strike today?

A few things I don’t understand still. A court has nothing to do with how the FAA makes rules for rest, duty, etc. GU needs to be taking this to ALPA, FAA, higher courts, etc

also, if everyone doesn’t send in an ALPA card idk wtf you’re thinking. A slam dunk case against the company and GU can’t even win?

ALPA here we come. To all of you who got the strike communications be grateful you get to go to work today. We almost lost our careers because GU thought GOM was good enough for a strike.

had we gone through with the strike and then lost in court no doubt Maury and the stooges would have loved nothing more than fire every pilot who striked.

Union reps said GU was “surprised” that MG didn’t back down with a strike looming - how can Greg be so stupid? He thought management would back down? Maury probably wanted a strike so we he could fire some pilots since we are over staffed.

I honestly cannot believe how stupid and extremely un-intelligent Untersher is. Playing with our careers like that.

I urge every Allegiant pilot on here to get on the Union call tomorrow and demand GU resign immediately! It is clear that he only cares about himself. We are the jokes of the industry right now allowing this man destroy our lives for the past year and a half.

Please sign an ALPA card and if nothing else, wake up Sean O’Brian and put him on notice that we are our local and will not tolerate GU anymore!
