Which section?

nothing will be TA’d. Last mediation session we got two TAs on Sectins 14/16 (doesn’t sound like an impasse if we got two TAs last time we met with management but I digress).

no way we get any TAs on the one day we are in mediation. No one in the union has given an answer for why we were supposed to negotiate all week and now it’s just one day? The only section we could TA the one day would be section 15. Scope, pay, retirement, etc sections are off the table until management agrees to section 15.

begs the question: what happens if we don’t get released? My theory, is Unterseher dug himsel a hole that we will not talk money until work rules are done and he’s realized that we are at a standstill on work rules and management isn’t budging. Instead of moving onto to money, scope, rates, etc GU is filing to be released so he can save face.

After NMB refuses to release us, GU can say that we have to start talking about rates, retirement, scope, because the NMB is making us. Sorry for wasting the last 15 months doing nothing, our strategy didn’t work.

I would bet they don't even negotiate today. Just the mediator giving some talking points. Hope I'm wrong.

I am sure the Company will spend half the day complaining that it is unreasonable after all the progress to sections that mean nothing for the Union to request a Proffer be offered.

Lol, that letter from Fish sure seemed like no contract for a decade at least.

Well we already knew they were going to reject the proffer, all the rest of the letter is just detritus. Not even sure why they asked for an additional 2 weeks to respond, they just cut and paste in the same worthless screen electrons they normally do.

we’ll find out if GU is an evil genius or just a complete moron within a month. If we get released I’ll eat crow til I retire but if this is just another schtick to delay and exert control over us then it better be the last straw.

How much longer can these teamster zealots worship at the feet of GU. Just like they worshipped Andrew, now they’re worshipping Greg.
