What management believes is their problem. Send them an email if you feel strongly about it.
until management believes that they have to pay us market rates or else is pilot group will never ratify a contract then we are going to be spending our wheels. We have no leverage. We will have even less leverage when the NMB rejects our petition to be released. We have no leverage from attrition. Economy is in the tank. Management has no respect for the NC. What are we supposed to do? Just wait until 2029 and hope we might get released then? We have to create some leverage, we have to send management a message that what they are asking, and demanding will not get ratified.. the only way to show them is to vote down a TA by 90%. Otherwise, we will keep spinning our wheels for the next four years. If a TA gets put out to vote, with below market rates, retirement, etc. And we voted down by 90% then management will realize that they have to pay us industry rates. |

delay, no pressure, maximum leverage for management. We are a joke to the mediator. We asked for a new mediator and got assigned one. Now after meeting with him ONCE in person (once on zoom) we are asking him to release us??? we are a joke and clueless. We are asking to be released before we even talking about compensation. what do you think we should teamster Tom?? What would you do besides sit around and wait while our careers and retirement disappear before our eyes??? |

Better than trusting the teamsters… what are we gonna do instead? The union is unraveling. No trust. No unity. IBT has done everything MG wants. Played exactly into management’s hands.

NMB is a board not just one Mediator. Even then he has been involved since Nov and everything done prior is not lost to the Board. We are almost 4 years into this and we have not one TA for anything of meaning. All the hard stuff is not done. If the company is staying at 70 percent no mater what and they union can so that the 30/50 is inline or even more company favoring than industry so no more room to more towards the company thats an Impass. Will the NMB agree we will find out. We will also find out what kind of pull the Teamsters have in DC. The only true power any union has is the threat of a strike, in the RLA that power takes a lot to get. If it even looks like the NMB is leaning to move in that direction the power will start to shift. I think the last thing Allegiant wants is the Union getting into the 30 days because then we will finally have the most power you can ever have as a Union.
You’re absolutely right they know what’s been going on with us for the past four years and management is gonna say: “you know why we haven’t gotten any TAs? Because they had fake mob boss who’s now being charged with fraud and theft by the IBT. What happened the one time the union and company made progress? GU fired the NC because they were moving too fast. we have 0% chance of being released. So after the NMB says no then what? What else does GU have? My guess, is GU asked for release because he wants to blame somebody else besides himself. It’s a cop out, to ask for a release when he knows the answer is gonna be no. |

so what happens when we don’t get released?? You don’t think the NMB knows we’ve had five NC because of the fraud, disorganization and inexperience of 2118?
