definitely not released. GU said we are at an impasse on unstacking and so they asked the NMB to release us. Not a single person in any of my group chats and fb groups thinks we are gonna get released. Most I’ve seen believe GU is distracting us from having elections and getting him out.

GU is confident. I’ve seen messages from JR saying that GU is certain that we’ll be released in 30 days and striking before summer flying. None of us are holding our breath.

I guess it’s worth a shot tho, if we do get released then I might be getting paid more and working less than you Marg!

Actually its more than that. The union is asking the mediator to officially offer a Proffer of Arbitration (binding arbitration). The idea being if either party rejects, we enter into a 30 day cooling off period.

Did you even read what Greg said? He said the union would reject the proffer to immediately start the cooling time - Greg even explained it’s the same thing as being released. Also, the proffer isn’t to the mediator but to the NMB board.

Like someone said, anything is possible frankly. We're in it now, the ball has been thrown to the other end of the field. Now we gotta see if "it gets caught". Whatever happens, I just hope it doesn't drag on, I hope whatever happens, and happens quick.
