what a joke they made us wait all weekend to get that crappy update. Literally could have written that in 10 min and had it sent out Friday night.

That little delay over Easter Weekend should equate to at least 50 more ALPA cards. 3 minute update - wanted to get it right I guess. Nailed it! Nothing burger.

Yep the next new group, we will have a contract in a week, goes down in a burning ball of flames. They could have sent their nothing burger of an email out a minute before they walked out the door on Friday. We will do the will of the pilots, we will have better communication. We will be transparent. All crap All Lies. They need to start being honest to the pilots on either how bad a deal will be or we are still way too far to get a deal.

I don’t even think management will offer us a deal with current fuel prices. We’d be lucky to get the deal from 2024

Exactly. Has anyone been watching the news? Oil will continue to rise to unprecedented levels. Iran is not going to back down. The airline industry is about to be cooked. Everyone here bitching about the EXCO. How about the previous group?

Right…

I think every check airman should resign. Only “legal” work stoppage we can do. No check airman, no checking, no airline very quickly.

Shut this F’Kn place down!

This “war” is over. Iran is in check mate. There is no way the USA doesn’t win. The news wants you to feel fear and remind you orange man bad. What goes up must come down. This is temporary.

Oil spike in 2022 didn’t stop other airlines from getting industry leading contracts. Oil was about the same price. Look how that turned out.

This contract is negotiated for years and should not be negotiated on temporary oil price spikes.

100 Percent, the oil price is a temp event. It will likely snap back almost as fast as it went up, when the war is replaced by the newsreels for the next thing in the cycle. One this contract will be the base for the next one. There is no reason that we should accept something that is not industry standard based on everyone else. Everyone else is about to start the next round of new contracts. They are all looking for improved deals, none of them are oh the oil is up today we better expect concessions. By the time we get the the next one Joint or otherwise they will all have new and improved deals vs now.

The current EXCO is the ones in control, now everyone is well aware of what has been happening over the last 5 years. This EXCO ran on a platform of making decisions on what the pilots wanted, yet they have not polled any of the pilots. They promised transparency and far better communications then those in the past. So far nothing the ran on have been delivered. They were elected at the beginning of the year and have had like one town hall meeting, One required meeting, and zero participation by any of them on the offical forum. At least one of the current exco spent almost everyday on that forum demanding answers from the union, but now complete silence. Who are they protecting by not being transparent? It should never take several days to put out an update that had no real info in it, that is not serving the pilots.
