there seems to have been some leveling with regard to the juniority of bases, measured in terms of how junior the bottom pilots are/time to get it as a new hire (exception:vps, iwa). Still means it could be your desired base right away or it could take several months. Lax, pvu, las seem to be the biggest revolving doors as of late but could change in a month. However the last question is literally impossible to answer. there are no new bases so no quick movement anywhere. Reserve is not bad if you live base if not in Florida. Usually about a year to get off fo reserve.

Regarding LAX, LAS, do you know the hire date of most junior line holder?

So I'm going to stop you right there.....that's not really an answerable question at Allegiant. Someone can tell you last month the hire date of the junior lineholder. And then next month lo and behold there could be 1 lineholder and the rest are reserve or composite lines. Happens all the time here. The number of regular lines in a base is not an established or agreed upon or even consistent number. Your question cannot be answered with any degree of accuracy that will help you plan your life except to say LAS is more senior for FO's and in LAX you might occasionally have a line pretty quick but in LAS you certainly will not.

Welcome to Allegiant.

Default SFB info

Looking to stay in the SFB/MCO area for the near future, long term I actually like ABE,PVU ,FNT... Can someone define exactly what the chances are to get SFB for initial training, and first base out of training.
I understand that jr FO @ SFB = abuse.
Can you define said abuse?
What would an average month look like for the most junior FO in SFB (reality not hyperbole) ?
How often would you actually get to fly in month?
Can you pick up extra trips?
I don't mind 20 days of sitting reserve a month at SFB
What is your short call reserve time? ( I could do 20 minutes from my house if needed)
I don't mind TDY bases
How much actual flight time can a junior FO get at SFB on a normal schedule or with overtime?

I DO mind 50% deadhead pay to drive to MIA/FLL... to sit 8 hours, not fly, log less than 40 hours of flying a month, and drive home and repeat for 20 days ( please say it's not THAT bad).

Also;
what it the current CJO to class date time?
What is the current training footprint for Indoc through IOE?

Thanks in advance for any helpful info

United, Frontier, Southwest, Jetblue, American in Miami.

All far superior options.

I don't think there are people waiting for SFB anymore, if you came in a month it was offered, you could probably get it, but it's not always offered, like 1 in 3 months maybe. You'll probably work about twice a week on average but with some months much busier than others. Right now it's a year ish to get off reserve. You can occasionally work extra, but with a junior reserve line there won't be very many opportunities to do that because you'll be working the days when open time is available. You can't drop from pure reserve to pick up trips, or almost never anyway. A drop and a pick up have to be available on the same day. 45 hours flight time per month is probably realistic until you can hold a line. Paid 72 of course.

I work reserve in sfb and average about one limo ride every three weeks I'd say, the other flights are just sick calls etc... The bids for the 737 out of PIE and SFB are coming soon and should create some opportunities to hire in to the base I would think. The training footprint is 60 days. The upgrade time in SFB is currently 10 years. You'll hear people say it's nonexistent or forever but someone just came in, 10 years was the actual number.

Reserve in SFB is not as bad as people say it is, sometimes it can be rough, but it usually is fine. I think the biggest downside really, is it's hard to fly more to make more money if you are junior. I have heard PGD does a lot of flying, but SFB is pretty slow, not the best base for that.

Boeing vacancies will start in July! That means if your last 4 suck you will be forced into the 737 that has a completely new training program, incur a 24 month seat lock, and be forced to be based in SFB or PIE for that 24 month seat lock. These will be the new junior Allegiant bases starting as early as the July 29th new hire class
