There was discussion that the Company approached Miami Air, Orange Air, Frontier, and others to fly G4's potential struck flying, and all of them told AAY management to pound sand.

Interesting analyst comment:
"Our estimate assumes there will be no strike," Becker added. "If a strike were to occur there would be a significant financial impact to the company as access to available pilots is limited."

'Available pilots' = scabs

Here is my #1 issue with our current bidding; The Optimizer, giving 11 days off for "flying & mixed" lines. Everybody gets a maximum of 11 days off and approx 75hrs for May, except for pure reserve with 10 days off

Last time I posted, the only support I got was Packrat (who I normally don't agree with, however, he was correct. I spoke the truth). Anyway, I'm not looking to be blasted here. I'm all in! BUT, I've also read the published transcripts. We need to be prepared to have the TRO basically turned into an injunction against the AAY pilots. This MAY go in favor of the pilots; but it is definitely in dispute. In the event Mr. Gordon decides the TRO has been recognized, served its purpose, and allowed a review of both sides; it is highly likely, he will rule to place an injunction preventing a strike (job action, etc) until the NMB makes a decision. In other words; the can may ( or may not for those who attack reality on here ), be kicked down the road. After my read; there IS legal ground on behalf of the Company to have an injunction issued. There is also a possibility of a good day for the pilots! (But thats based on luck, not legal standing. lets all realize there is a dispute. My read?, we have a 60% chance lose, 40% chance win.). Main point.......plan B has been in question all along (hope for the best; plan for the worst). Plan A, on the other hand.....is a swap.....60% win at this point. In the event the pilots have a favorable ruling from the honorable Judge Gordon: I believe there will be stipulations. MG and GB will certainly ignore any stipulations and we know this.

BUT.....the NMB! Is our friend. Our so called "negotiations" regarding a contract are laughable. This point, will be loud and clear to MG and GB, and the remainder. Result? Hope for the best....plan for the worst! The best??? Pilots win with Judge Gordon. The worst??? Pilots win twice as hard......with the NMB!
