I've looked up interview gouge but everything I found was from 2007/2008.. Has the interview changed at all since then?
Probably at least one management pilot and several corporate types. Can't tell you much else, because I don't know.

As I understand, the Allegiant Pilots won every aspect of the recent lawsuit. Our work rules were and are a contract and the judge asked for weekly updates on progress or lack thereof with respect to returning to status quo.

Why then did lines come out for August that were "mixed" or "build-up" lines? As I understood.... there would be no more mixed lines because there were not mixed lines prior to Merlot.

I have been hearing of MANY people getting the now typical min days off with a hand full of reserve days sprinkled in. In fact, the number one guy in PIE received a 67 hour line with min days off with 4 or 5 reserve days sprinkled throughout. THE NUMBER ONE GUY!!!

Anyone know what is going on here? Was that lawsuit victory just a dream that never actually happened in real life?
From what I understand, the company was able to convince the judge they couldn't operate if Merlot was thrown out. The judge, knowing nothing about aviation, PBS, or Merlot, bought their argument. The status quo applies to everything that was in the workrules, EXCEPT the company may continue to use Merlot to generate schedules.

They are supposed to be working with the union to make the process transparent and to honor seniority. They are also supposed to provide updates to the judge on the process they are making to comply with his order. I don't know what the timeline on that is, or what the penalties may be if they fail to comply.

Thank you for the explanation. It makes more sense when explained that way. I had cognitively separated the two.

1) Merlot generates schedules that we hate intensely and must endure in spite of the fact that every schedule we had prior to Merlot was better.

2) Work rules and something like ten years of historical data pointing to that we have always had reserve schedules and flying schedules. Never mixed schedules.

I hope our union brings this concern to the judge. I don't know when they submit reports to him, but this would be an excellent first topic in that report.

I would love to read something on this issue in our union emails. It seems like everything I read concerns mission mode.

Excellent post. Bring up the issue on the new phone hotline issued weekly by the head of our union. I'm curious to know just how/when the judgement will start changing things.

Hey, Allegiant pilots. I'm about to separate from the Air Force and I'm pretty sure your company is my number one choice. I sent a couple private messages to y'all. I appreciate any info you can pass my way. Thanks in advance.

What do you want to know that hasn't already been laid out in one of the threads on this site?

May I ask why? Coming from a professionally run organization with top notch training and nearly-flawless maintenance, I fear you would be aghast and disappointed from day one.

Should I just fire off my application to the web-site, or are there any job fairs?

LOL, surely you aren't talking about the Air Force?

I want to be a part of a medium sized carrier, and I consider myself from Las Vegas.

Do yourself a favor and at least apply to Spirit and SWA. They both have a LAS base and offer compensation and QOL that blows anything you'll find at AAY right out of the water.

I am applying for both of those as well.

It looks like I wouldn't even get an interview tbh. I have 2600 hours of flying time, and 1200 PIC time. If you include my student time and sim time I have over 3000.

I am mentally ready to grind it out in a regional if I have to.
