I got the same emails yesterday and even though my total flight time is 2400TT, i think there trying to have a pool of pilots that are still in the loop and want to come on with Allegiant. But the issue is, I cant go back and update my flight times on the online login because the old resumes attached cannot be deleted. So what I am doing is I have sent in my updated resume with flight times to Jennifer directly in her email. Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come. For all those on board, what are the new hire ac assignments and bases these days? Is there a chance to get the 757 right out of training and what bases have the 757. Thank you.

The last couple classes have had 757 slots. With that being said don't expect the 757 since they seem to force the equipment lock and all those guys will be forced to stay a couple years unless we get rid of it. All new hires have gone to HNL, but LAS is a 757 base as well.

A friend of mine said there was a bit of everything (MD80, AB, 757) awarded on one of the most recent new hire class.

Regarding reserves out of FL bases, I heard there's not much flying going on, so I guess they're not breaking guarantee.

Is there any way someone can update fleet and pilots on the description page on APC? I'm curious how many pilots (and aircraft) there are now. Thanks.

I agree, the APC page is getting pretty out of date. CVG isn't even listed as a base. I was hoping to go to job fair this month to find out if there would be hiring into AB so I could be home based at CVG but won't be able to make it. Anyone know what the current seat lock is on aircraft? I saw you don't get your aircraft/base until 3 weeks into training, seems like a way to trap you into equipment you don't want.

Next class is 50/50 AB/80. The most recent class got the last of the 75s for a while and the 75s are going to be phased out over the next 2-3 years.

You will find out your assignment the end of the first week or the beginning of the second.

Would you walk out on the first day of you don't get what you want?

Yes, it's great how they give those seats to new hires and lock senior guys out. No matter what base you get, pack your bags and prepare for the TDY!

I posted earlier that if you don't get the equipment you want, depending upon how the company construes the work rules (or lack thereof) it can be upwards of 40 months. Another running rumor is that FL and IWA will be all Bus by the end of next year. The MD-80 bases are shrinking. Now only a fraction of PIE and SFB are -80, PGD will be all Bus by December. So it's possible by the end of next year the only bases on the -80 will be LAS, ENV, and the TDY summer bases like MYR and LAX. The good news is that if your in a base when it switches you "should" be allowed to jump. But without work rules? Yeah.

My class found out our assignment at the end of the third week, then they changed it. The confusion that you guys experienced when contacted by Allegiant about employment is the norm here. Getting someone to answer an email or pick up the phone in LAS is a challenge also. Get ready to spend hours watching your paycheck and fighting with crew services. Those days of you had will be getting rearranged... Stay Flexible!

Word I've heard is LAX goes permanent again next spring with 2 Bus and a third in the summer. Whether it will actually happen or if it will stay open if it does is anyone's guess.

It is a 2 year equipment lock, unless it is in the companies best interest, and that is a quote.

What I don't get what you are saying is that guys shouldn't be able to bid into things others cannot? How does every other company fill vacancies? My understanding is all companies allow new hires to bid into vacant positions ie a new hire at Delta can bid into the 76 even though there are more senior guys did not get it.

Looking at the TDY list it appeared there were very few involuntary TDYs. Maybe that doesn't reflect the real story. I also have friends at regionals spending weeks TDY making 30-50% less than us.

So far the biggest complaint has been that they can change days off less than 12 hours before a scheduled day off. That is a serious issue that needs to be fixed in the contract. In the mean time, don't answer your phone on your days off.

I've never had any issue getting a hold of anyone I've needed to. Emails replied to in same day, phone calls answered or returned within 24 hours.

Not trying to argue or start a fight but I'm just passing on my experiences.
