Point of clarification: You don't get the $24/day per diem while in initial in LAS.

You know Perma TDY would work out okay for a homeless guy....

Would they make him fly somewhere at the end of the month or could he just stay in the hotel....

Point of Clarification: Perma-TDY is now called HOM(Home Basing). Sounds sweet doesn’t it. Kind of invokes a Norman Rockwell setting with Christmas music playing during the holidays.

More like a lonely frozen dinner in your hotel room, because the Denny’s workers got Christmas Eve off.

Wait - home basing? That's what they're calling it? YHGTBSM!

Talk to a fractional pilot about being home based. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I'm pretty sure what Allegiant is doing is very, VERY different.

Oh, it is very different. Hence we’re very different. That’s the goal around here.

HOM doesn't stand for home basing, it's Home Other Mondays.

But, but, it's a quick upgrade! In less then 3 months you too can be high-fiving yourself in the mirror while on reserve on Christmas Eve at the Texarkana Motor Lodge. Aye, CAPTAIN!!!
