To give perspective to those of you wanting to come to G4...A senior captain schedule for August (#2 in base and top 10% company wide) had 12 days off with 76 hours of pay. No more than 2 days off at a time. No money, no time off to enjoy your life, and no retirement contribution from the company. For those of you heartbroken about a failed phone interview or feeling defeated that G4 won't call you, believe me when I say it is a huge blessing in disguise. You don't want to go to G4 and get force fed the Kool-Aide, just to find out in 5 years you've wasted your time. Do yourselves a favor and go to a real airline where you'll get treated and paid like a professional. Don't settle for the bottom of the barrel.

While I mean no disrespect for those who are wanting to come here, I must refuse to assist you in your quest by not giving you information on successfully passing the phone or in-person interview. You getting hired will not only destroy your home life, you will hinder the ability of those who are here in securing a new contract. Once everything is settled, we will welcome you with open arms. Until then, please don't jump in the washer when it's still on spin cycle.

I agree with everything you said, this though is absolutely true. I laughed when someone told me they were going to Allegiant so they could "reconnect" with their wife and family. After only seeing my wife 2 days a month for months on end she asked me "what is the point of being married if you're never around?" She wasn't mad when she said it just honest. Anyone thinking of going to Allegiant please listen to these guys, I know you don't think it is that bad, but it is.

I doubt the determined are listening. They are still mired in the desperate world of regional, and/or are on their last legs. My guess is mostly FO’s from the more dreadful sweatshops. I doubt we are getting any of the late 20 and early 30 something’s who are either at a more quality regional such as Horizon, or are RJ captains.

Single, 45 years old, stuck at the right seat of a regional with 6000 hrs. Got TBNT letter from them. Guess everything happens for a reason.

I attended OBAP career yesterday, lines for the big three were hours long, however Allegiant booth was empty. I really felt bad for the recruiters but I guess the word is out.
