To be fair to the stations, there are some great ones, some ok ones, and some outright terrible ones. Being contract vs direct G4 employees doesn't seem to make a big difference. In general those stations with experienced employees are at least decent, but it is hard to have experienced employees when the pay is terrible, the schedule unpredictable, and the flight benefits almost worthless.
Also, it doesn't help that the OCC staff don't tell them anything. Hell, I don't think the OCC staff talk amongst themselves. Sometimes you have mx control saying one thing, crew scheduling saying another, and whoever stations talk to saying start boarding now.

Does this happen at every other carrier? Yes.
Does it happen with the same frequency and percentage of departures? Not on your life.

But if they want to fix their pilot problem they need to get their contract done so pilots won't have to leave because of the terrible commuting schedules and sub-par work rules even compared to the regionals in some things.

I have too, Two of the big four actually, and I disagree. And when you throw in the abysmal performance of a lot of the regionals wearing their colors it gets even worse. Some of Allegiant's issues may be unique, obviously, and they do have problems just like every other airline. But their business model is working and the company is growing at a consistent 20% or so with high numbers of completion factors.

That is BS. No other US airline has the level of day to day, self-inflicted snafus that G4 does.
Yep, don't know what I was thinking, you're right, this [below] happens all the time at other airlines. You must have seen it often when you were flying with the two Big 4 airlines you left. Hopefully you weren't up-front in the big chair when this one occurred.

I just received an email for a phone and actual interview.
I have read the forums and have a few questions;
Is the 757 still being operated? If so what are its bases? What are the chances of being awarded the 75 as a newhire?
How are things in general at Allegiant?
Thanks
