very good info. Thank you! I live about 2 hours from FLL and an hour from PGD. I would probably have suck it up until i got PGD? and from what i've read on here they close bases quite often with this company so PGD could go away. 90 min call out wouldn't work for FLL so i would have to drive up there and wait around the airport on reserve? Thanks for the insight. i'm just trying to wrap my head around commuting lol. Thanks!

If a base has 2-ish planes based there then I'd worry about bases closing. FLL had been here for years. PGD has 5-6 planes and most likely is here to stay. Bases like AVL or any newer small bases that open I'd be concerned.

I just looked at the seniority list and the last two airbus classes have several PGD FO's in each class which tells me it is junior. Also, PGD is not a small base (in the Allegiant sense) so in my opinion it is not going to be closing.

Having said that, you would have to get the Airbus and not the MD80 to have a shot at PGD (or FLL for that matter). In the recent past, they were running mixed classes and you needed to be above age 35 to get the AB as it went right in seniority order. Lately though, it seems the classes they are running are either all AB or all MD80.

Now having said that, it appears that our new TA, if passed, will no longer used age for class seniority. Instead they will be using the last 4 digits of your SSN. Technically there is nothing to stop them from doing that right now as we have no agreement.

It is a software problem and has been for sometime. I got the TBNT letter the day I interviewed and was hired.
