Airbus. Should be mostly Airbus for the next few months with possibly an 80 class in September.

Thx for the info!
What is junior base?
No overnights, at all or just rare?

If you're, say,BLI based, do you only fly in/out of there? Or can you fly to LAS for example and do a turn out of there to someplace different?

The BLI base does all turns out of BLI. There are only two exceptions right now. There is a BLI-LAS-FAT-LAS-BLI day trip and a BLI-LAS-SCK-LAS-BLI day trip. You will find some of the east coast bases do similar type of trips.

Last I knew, the junior base was PGD. There are no scheduled overnights, although they can happen when you break down. All flights are scheduled out of wherever you are based.

Used to, you could pick up open time in another base, but, if you do that, it's up to you to get there and back.

Hi everyone I don't post much on here but i read a lot. I got invited to Las Vegas to do the interview. If all goes well I can get into the August 15th class. Been reading the gouges, any other tips anyone could give would be appreciated either posted or PM to me Thanks!

Got a few questions.

How do they determine seniority in class? age? Last 4 of SSN?

What are the chances of getting Vegas, or any Florida or California base?

Where is the training at?

Thanks for any tips and advice

Seniority use to be based on age; oldest most senior. For your August class and henceforth when our TA has been officially ratified this Thursday the 28th on or about 1205 eastern standard. Initial seniority will be based on last four of your social.

Training is in Vegas, accommodations are provided. The LAS base is MD80, I think the August class is Airbus? In my opinion, the two big questions they have on their mind in the interview are will you be a commuter and what happens if you do not get the base/type you wanted. Give those questions some thought.

Thanks for the info. No commuting for me going to move and if not the base I want that is fine.

How do they determine bases for the class? Are they assigned or do you choose from whats available in seniority order?

Default Question

Ladies and gents, im looking to transition back into the airlines. I had to leave due to a nasty divorce and custody battle. The only feasible way to get back flying 121 is Alligent for me... i live 20 minutes from PGD and being home most nights is the only way to show a broken family justice system in this country that i can be a pilot and a father. I made some hard career changes to fight to be with my children... now im looking to get back into 121 flying. I hear that PGD is junior so I wanted tto know if what the chance was of getting that out of training. Also, how long is training in Vegas? Any breaks? I appreciete yoir responses... thank you and be safe up there!
