I have to admit this is a pretty good pilot recruitment video for Allegiant - well done! The Captain seems like a pretty cool guy too. The part at the end about spending more time at that home on the beach and surfing is compelling - must be nice... Where do I sign up?

5 ppl at the interview today. Myself and 4 others. We were all offered a position with a class date of December 5th. I can only speak for myself but in humbled at the opportunity.
One of the CPs told us today they're planning on about 30 ppl in the January class!
Best of luck to everyone wishing to come!

Congrats to those that received CJOs today!
I was originally slated for the December class. Received an email today saying they were opening up more spots in the November class and asked if I wanted to move up.
Wonder if they are starting the bigger classes next month?
Either way, I'm excited to join the team. Anyone else in the November class?

Rumors are rampant. Apparently FR is telling people in the school house that we are going to be getting 150 air buses. No time frame was mentioned. But obviously if they are ramping up classes to 40 a month for the next foreseeable future (as heard from people interviewing) they must be expecting some more sooner rather than later.
The question I have is, however, is how is the training department going to keep up?! They are supposed to be accelerating the diminishing of the -80 fleet, which means a lot of guys transitioning as well. The school house in Florida is what, a year away from completion at least? They don't have enough instructors in the school house and the check airmen are backed up. I don't see how they can handle it.
Let's hope some of this banter is true!

They didn't mention 150 Airbuses yesterday. I specifically asked and CP said the goal is 100 Airbuses and 1000-1100 pilots. December 5th was said to have 14-18 pilots with classes of 30 starting January.
There was also a recurrent class in the building yesterday during our interview. Everyone was extremely nice and willing to answer questions and tell us about their experience. So far I like the culture and the pilots I was able to meet. I'm looking forward to class.
