[QUOTE=chopperleo;2261859]Just curious.... what were your times? Jst tryingto get a feel for what g4 is looking for. Thanks!

When I interviewed the group that got the job offer had a mix of 4000-ish all the way up to 8000 hrs total. One thing recruiters kept emphasizing was they really liked seeing COMMAND experience. Wether it was 121, 135 or even 91.

Due to how fast they have been upgrading they wanted people that could be ready to be captains "soon" or that could handle "assist" new captains that upgraded fast.

Just my two cents

I didn't know that. Unable to drop anything in my base yet anyhow.

Eventually we will all need to start dropping trips as I believe the sick bank stops at 600 hours and there is no other way to cash it in.

210 hours is really all you need in there. That much will get you through 3 bids to Long Term Disability

Not sure what base you are at, but if you are in a smaller base like OAK AVL FLL I wouldn't expect to have as much flexibility as a big base like LAS. Part of being in a small base with so few pilots is they staff it to what is needed. In Vegas this week you could literally drop the whole week if you want to.

My original comment wasn't really regarding dropping trips, just an observation that 210 hours will cover 3 bids, which would then get you to LTD. And yes, I know that LTD disability doesn't get you to guarantee.

As for dropping trips this week in LAS, you literally cannot drop this whole week. There are 5 days available to drop for the rest of the month right now for LAS MD80 CA.

Hello all,

I'm heavily considering applying to Allegiant. Curious about....

1 - Monthly schedule makeup...ie...how many days on/off. How many or few days off between trips.
2 - What a typical day schedule is like. How many hours of pay per day on average?
3 - How many hours do you fly/credit on average?

I understand there are so many variables that go into a schedule, but I'm just trying to get an idea for what the QOL is like there.
I would have to drive 2 hours to Vegas, so grouping work days together then have a reasonable number of days off before coming back to work again would be ideal. Is this possible? I understand the trips are home in domicile each night, so I would have to spend nights in Vegas on my own dime.

Thanks for any feedback on this.

You will have a lot of single days off even as a senior FO and Vegas can be very expensive to find hotels during many weeks of the year. You'd be better off at an airline where you could commute to four day trips and let the airline pay for your hotel.

So what seems to be the secret sauce right now? I am currently at a WO AA 3+ yrs to flow. I am a west coast guy but want to move to PHX. I applied a little while back. I have a family and the older I get the harder it is to pack up for a week.
Suggestions?

There are crashpads available in LAS that would be more economical than hotel-ing it. I paid around $150/mo. for mine. That said I did move to a base - heed the warnings about commuting, even "only" 2 hours away.
