Post contract, most new hires have had between 4000-7000 hours total and at least 1000 jet PIC. These numbers straight from recruiting. If they say the minimum is 3000 and you don't have that, then expect a TBNT. Go to the job fair and meet them anyhow though, it can't hurt.

Your numbers may be the "average", but there have been a number of recent hires from the regional level with very low time.

I got the TBNT email, which then stated that I should keep updating my resume for future consideration. I did the video and phone interview as well as a meet and greet. I have over 16,000 hours PIC with a regional, check airman, etc. Maybe they think I am "set in my ways" since I have been with the same company for over 20 years. I have considered other airlines in the past, but really would like to join Allegiant. The day trips and being home are what intrigue me as that is what I am currently used to doing. My question is, is there anything else I can do to show how motivated I am?

Why do you want to work for Allegiant? Domicile? Home most nights? Convince them your hire will be someone who will stick with them.
You can also speak to their pay being much improved in the recent contract, so jumping to the majors is not something in your mind.
Just my suggestion.

I would suggest you call Emerald Coast or Raven and get an interview skills refresher. It'll make a difference.

Thanks so much for your reply. No hidden flaws, just been where I am for over 20 years. I have thought about giving Emerald Coast a call, it has been a long time. The stability of the regionals is a bit concerning and I am very intrigued with how Allegiant is run. I would love to keep doing day trips and be home at night as well as have more stability for my family in the long run. This is definitely not a stepping stone as I don't plan to go anywhere else if ever hired at Allegiant. I guess I didn't do the best at portraying that.

Hey guys first of all for those that replied previously thank you. I was just wondering if there is a reference site of some sort that list all upcoming Job fairs for Allegiant. I am aware of OBAP and I plan on going to that one, but I realized a little to late they had one today with aero crew solutions. I am new to the job fair thing but would really like to make Allegiant my home long term.

I don't think Allegiant has it out against high time pilots like the legacy airlines seem to, but with the stack of apps they have on file, they feel like they can be picky.
I think it's paramount to put out 100% on the video interview. They are screening out 90% of the applicants there. If you're high time, stagnant, or have skeletons in your closet, it's even more important to hit it out of the park. I know I say this here like a broken record, but anyone interested in this company needs to do some serious research into what makes us unique and have some greet reasons why you want to be part of that. Those who come in and plop their logbook on the table and request a class date are quickly sent on their way. And it's true that some high timers have severely struggled in training lately. If you have ANY airline program failures, forget it. That is disqualifying here.

Plenty of people have been hired with 121 training failures. They need to be completely honest about it, be able to explain what they learned from it, and absolutely rock the FTD portion.
Anyone can fail a checkride

I'm sorry, but this is just not true. Not for single 121 training failure anyway.
