Really? I heard mav’s got a bad dd214, drummed out for conduct unbecoming. Something about getting caught underway; dont ask dont tell violation. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, nowadays that sort of stuff is all good.

Look I'm no fan of Mav but what exactly do you expect to gain from making up things and personal attacks? It just undermines the posts that are indeed facts by making everyone question every post now.

You're doing more harm than good.

There have been numerous instances where the phone interview didn't go very well for people, for whatever reason. If you can make it, and you are interested in coming here, I would highly recommend making one of these meet and greets. Face to face is always better...they aren't meeting thousands of people like at Delta at a WIA conference...they WILL remember you. Disco is correct that your time is a little low for what they are looking for, but a good impression goes a long way. You can't make it if you don't show up...

There is supposed to be some big announcement today or tomorrow. I'm guessing that is related to the leadership meeting.

Those looking at coming here I would definitely attend of the the meet and greets. I know the system CP is attending the one in Friday.

Any idea why these meet and greets seem to fall on the same day as the Aerocrew solutions job fairs? I noticed the Chicago meet and greet was also the same day as an Aerocrew fair...

Maybe it's a coincidence or maybe not. It would be a good way to separate the guys that really want to be here vs. guys that will go to whomever call first. I really don't know though.

Is anyone else starting to think the "Big Announcement" is nothing more than a well played joke? It is fun to spread rumors and see how long it takes to get back to you.

If it is, it is an expensive one...whole bunch of people were allegedly flown out for some meeting.

Yesterday all the station managers and many Ops people were brought to LAS. Today is supposedly a meeting of all the CPs. If it's a simple new paint job and uniforms, they are wasting a lot of time and money on it.
