Should you leave AA?

I'm a REALLY junior line holder but I don't bother trying to avoid Redeyes because I have other more pressing QOL issues. In the last 12 months...
*Just over 250 flights
*Just under 700 hrs
*Day- 550ish (78%)
*Night- 150ish (22%)
Not all night flights are redeyes. I usually get one or two redeyes per month. Some months none.

This thread makes me laugh. Timing and luck is everything in this business. Some guys got hired here in '85 as 22 year old B-scalers and turned out to have pretty incredible careers, much better than the ones they signed up for. Some of us thought we nailed it then ended up living through a time when you stayed junior for a dozen years! Imagine no one coming in below you, no end of the tunnel in sight. The only movement is guys falling off the top and boom, they added 5 years to that. On top of that you got to play this game where you decided which Golden Girl character each of your FAs was. On a good day you got a Blanche as your #1.
We have stuff to fix here, but the sea change has occurred. Anyone considering leaving here that has 2000 below them has lost their mind. That's my opinion.

I'm at roughly 85% in Charlotte and avoid red eyes easily through PBS. If I do get one on my sched, I trade it away. Learn how to bid and trip trade.
Those 2 leg redeyes are BS. But they will keep giving them to us, especially in Charlotte unless we make it painful for them with fatigue calls. Bottom line, they do it because guys just want to get home and don't call fatigued. The ignorance of our fatigue program is mind boggling.

Please tell me this is a joke. Splitting hairs on verbiage now are we? NO...65% of my night flying is occurring from 12:00-0600. Is that clear enough. So people arguing FEDEX and UPS are worse for the body....I completely disagree. We go from redeyes to 4:00am wake ups in 4 days.
I know it all crap cause my three friends who left for FEDEX from AA are LOVING LIFE. LOVING it. They are all wide-body FO's, and they are flying with multi crews on great trips. This is dog sh!t schedules.....I would got to Fedex in a heart if I wasn't based at home. That the onlu reason I tolerate this garbage.

Not splitting hairs bud. There's a big difference between night flying and backside of the clock flying. You just said night. You don't have to be a johnson about it, I was just trying to clarify.
If you think the FX schedules are way better based on what some of your bros say then you're not looking at the whole picture. They have tough flying. We have tough flying too. But they have more because that's the nature of their flying.
You do realize if you're going to commute then FX is a good deal with all their deadheads, right? Sounds like it'd be a good setup for you.

Off of the original topic but on the subject of red eyes...
I've seen a lot of 2 leg red eyes at CLT recently. I.e. Fly to PHX sit 24 hours. Fly a leg to SAN/SLC etc. sit an hour THEN fly a red eye. Serious ball buster, I'm seeing more of them though. Seems completely unacceptable to me.
