They will. I can't remember where exactly it is written but it is somewhere on aapilots. Just pay the fee and expense it. Two weeks later, you will get a check.

Yes. Pay for it and then take your confirmation/acceptance e-mail or Global Entry card to your Flight Office and they'll reimburse you.

Some info from Aug 18th flight dept update:

- Hiring number (year to date) 523

- 294 from WO'd (PDT, PSA and Eagle) flows

- 229 off the street

- anticipate increase in overhaul hiring for 2018 but didn't give any specifics

No mention of how many more for 2017.

Is that last statement supposed to read:

anticipate AN increase AND overhaul OF hiring, otherwise I'm not sure what your trying to report in that sentence.

"an increase in overall hiring in 2018" is what it reads in the update.

Probably iPad word corrector...

Says applicants aren't updating the apps either. Seems like a easy way to stand out.

Where did it say that?

In the 2 paragraphs under "mainline hiring" I didn't see that. First paragraph had data I posted above.

The second thanks current pilots for thier recommendations and reminded us the only way to submit one is via the aa.pilotcredentials link.

I was trying to relate that it said, "a increase in overall hiring for 2018". Sorry for the confusion.

I took a screen shot of the 2 paragraphs but I can't attach it here.

FWIW - Just trying to do my part (as accurately as possible) in passing info to pilots out there trying to get on.

There were some stats months back about how many apps had been updated in the previous 90 days or so and the number was surprisingly low compared to the advertised total number of applications in the system. Anyone have updates to this?
