Slice, thanks for posting the info.

How many pilots currently in DCA? If possible can you separate it into 4 groups:
CA/FO A320
CA/FO 737

Thanks!

I've seen numerous posts on the work schedule. Generally, I've seen that pilots should be able to schedule 17-19 days of flying per month. Based on that, is the average narrow-body trip 4 days followed by a couple days off or is it totally random?

Also, how often do pilots have an opportunity to pick up extra flights? I'm curious about 'over the long term,' but also specifically in the first year or two to help cushion the pay? I imagine that is much harder while on reserve?

Lastly, how much opportunity at American for premium pay (holiday flying, etc)?

Line holders are able to pick up extra flying. Reserves can volunteer to but it's at the discretion of crew scheduling, so don't plan on it. Premium trips are pretty rare systemwide. They try to avoid paying premium by shifting trips to another base, splitting a trip, etc. if you live in base you are much more likely to get a call for premium as most premium trips are fairly last minute when they run out of reserves.

I wouldn't count on this scheduling helping you out in any way. (Even if it clearly benefits both you and the company.)

You can always try, but just set your expectations very, very low-and scheduling still disappoint.

A bit off topic here, but is there still a satellite base in SFO at AA? If so, what aircraft types?

Thanks...

No. Ergo no aircraft type.
