End of 2017 base/equipment seniority
#22
2015 plan showed a reduction of 757/767 of one a/c in 2018, 2 in 2019, and 12 in 2020.
No clue what the 2016 or 2017 plans were for the 757/767.
There’s a chance the drawdown has stabilized for a couple of years.
The pay isn’t worth the loss of seniority. The type of flying is the draw.

Face it JFK has been surrendered to DAL long ago and we are happy to retreat to PHL where there is less competition. Probably a smart move at this juncture but a major relocation for pilots being displaced.

LGA 767I currently does CDG, MXP, MAD, and ZRH. Rumors say
all but ZRH will go to LGA 777I next year and ZRH is moving to PHL.
Makes sense since MXP, CDG, and MAD already fly the 777 from MIA.
So I would strongly assume that 767 will be either small or nonexistent in NY in the not so distant future and PHL will have more of that flying. MIA I am not sure about again FWIW.

I would imagine the 757 would have to stay in MIA for no other reason than to do LPB. I don't think we have anything else in the fleet with the performance for that airport.

319’s, depending upon engines, can be in the 757 thrust to weight class.
319’s fly there from other cities.
Out of MIA it might be weight restricted but it has the performance. They were still using 727’s there about a decade ago. Hop over the mountain to VVI. Avianca is flying non stop to BOG in an A319 so it’s got some payload capability.
