Yes I was mistaken, 737/DCA is DOM only. Yes I was mistaken, the overwater Caribbean is INT. Yes I am new, thank you for showing me the errors of my way, AAll Mighty Sky CAAptain. Feel better?
Well in the boomer's defense, you were sure adamant in your post that you knew more than the other guy. "It's NOT because it's a DOM status. It's alright to be new and not know everything. Don't get so butt hurt.

The not emphasis was exactly because the INT/DOM distinction makes so little sense at AA. There are numerous international destinations that are served by DOM statuses. The "butt hurt" you are referring to is in response to the smugness and condescension of the reply, and that it didn't help clarify the original question at hand.

Again, I was wrong in my implication that 737/DOM flew Caribbean routes... I'm happy to be corrected, and admit when I'm wrong. You just don't have to be a ****** in pointing out others' errors.

I'm over it. Are you?

One last thing I noticed: on the last couple bids there has been a large defection among CA and FO moving from DFW 320 INT over to the domestic side. Are the pairings that bad? Or is it something else?

Small bid status, a lot of reserves, and LHrs have a hard time trading anything.
Also, there's a LOT of trailing red-eyes from UIO, GYE, and BOG. Particularly next month.

International reserve is the worst at this company. You are also a domestic reserve when they run out of need you. They transfer trips freely.

No debating that SJD, PVR, etc. Easiest way to think of it is the water example or look it up in the FOM. I like to keep it simple if we can though

Man; I did a CLT-GCM (Grand Caymen) overnight, GCM-MIA, then a MIA-SJU turn during IOE. Guess what... Neither Grand Caymen nor San Juan were considered International! LOL. So I had to turn around and do a CLT-SBJ (Montego Bay) turn to complete International IOE. Go figure...
That was cool and fine by me though, I needed all the IOE I could get!
