There’s a ton of routes down there that don’t require INT crews... DCA may not do the Caribbean, but it’s not because it’s a DOM status.

In LAX the 320 only has LAX flying while the 737 flying is relatively evenly split between 3 co-domiciles. LAX/SNA/ONT are roughly an hour apart in good traffic, and there isn't much good traffic in LAX these days. Covering those three airports when you're not senior enough to get decent trips is rough. Covering those three airports when you're not senior enough to hold a line is even worse. So unless you live in base your quality of life is going to be much better on the 320 than the 737 in LAX.

I'd also wager that there are a bunch of pilots who live in PHX and CLT that bypass a 737 CA until they can hold a 320 CA seat which will eventually let them transfer back home without waiting out a seat lock.

G1 Captain sure did go low. 14396. And so much for just grabbing guys in Philly. Looks like someone from Dallas and Phoenix get to trek to PHL for a while.

It’s ok to just say you are wrong. Being new is ok too International Division is required at AA to do those routes. It’s in your FOM even. Basically if it’s originating in the US and goes to a foreign country and it’s over water it’s international for divisions. I.e Cancun, Cozumel, San Juan, etc. Hawaii even and Alaska.

Is it dumb? Eh.... It’s how we’ve alwAAys done it though.

Again it’s ok to be new and not know

The bid statuses are super confusing. Like Mexico City isn't la or lt? But Nassau is international. Bizarre.
