I think the clothes companies arbitrarily make up fashion “rules” that change all the time just to convince you to spend more money on new clothes you don’t need. Plus, they recycle what’s “in style:” anyone else noticed that’s 1980s women’s fashion seems to be coming back this year?

Is it OK to wear full length jeans in 2019?

Funny thing was...I initially agreed with you guys. I was against your chosen method of dragging AAG pilots into this mess, but the general idea of giving you a boost over OAL made sense.

Then, after discussing it a bit, I realized that the relationship between our managements is not the best metric for determining JS priority. Just because our managements made a deal doesn’t mean you should automatically get priority. The JS is a pilot benefit, not a management benefit. You want JS priority over tens of thousands of pilots on the entire AAL network because you fly 85 planes for AAG management. What if they reduce your contract to 5 planes? Should you still get that JS priority over every other OAL pilot in the nation??

I now believe that if any priority is going to be given it should be based on value. Republic brings very little benefit in terms of JS network value. While DAL, SWA, UAL, etc bring huge amounts of JS network value to the table.

Anyways, short story is that you brought the issue to my attention, I initially agreed with you basic premise, and then rejected the logic behind it upon further reflection. Not everyone is going to agree with your logic, which basically benefits Republic pilots at the expense of all others.
