You honestly didn’t see this coming?

Still doesn’t mean the whole thing might not just shut down temporarily.

Another plus is you'd still be classified as an active employee, so in the event of a merger when lists are merged you'd still have a seat at the table.
Why would you take 10 hours/month to do what you’re saying when you could take the VSTLOA at 55 hours/month for 1/3/6 months? Or a 12 month VELOA with zero responsibilities?

You’re all over the place with your bizarre predictions in just about every thread on this forum. The only person in APC-world that seems to post more than you is RickAir77777777. Might consider taking a breather. FWIW, I might not always agree with you, but you bring good value to this forum... that being said, it seems like you’ve traded quality for quantity since this crisis started.

another regional is probably going to shut. commutair apparently furloughed this moring roughly 50% of the pilots.

Here’s to hoping those crews land safely on their feet.

Will regionals qualify for any of this grant/bailout money?

From what I've heard (not much) the answer is sadly, no.

And that would be the end of the regional model.

Exactly. The only ‘loophole’ might be for the wholly-owner carriers in that they fall under the parent company. This is speculation, however, as I have no idea what the bill language says yet.

You can't run sub 10% load factors on $30 fares. The last carrier standing may be able to make it work (SWA/Spirit?).

Maybe we can negotiate say 10 hours of pay a month for staying current.
JM from Below the Line? Is that you?
