This is stressful enough as it is on everyone. We can do without the smug “prepare now” comments that usually come from people far outside the furlough danger zone. With that being said..AA is still in a position where furloughing pilots may not happen. An overage of 1300 or so for the next year is not an earth shattering number. Particularly if demand starts to pick up in 2021. A number of companies are talking about a vaccine being ready by January, and that will be a watershed moment. |

Think a Miata is some feminine product. As for furloughs, I hope none of you get it. I haven't flown since Compass went under and though some time off was nice, I'm ready to go fly. Did have an interview with Atlas, which I thought went well, but got the TBNT. Still applying everywhere I can, but really just looking forward to my AA class date getting set again. |
If your buying a miata than your house is definitely not in order.

Mass furlough letters and their timing can affect stock prices and credit ratings (possibly good or bad).
No company will send letters sooner than the minimum legal/contractual timeline, unless they have an ulterior motive for that. In other news... I’m selling my brand new 2020 Miata, color is Mangenta. Fully loaded. Make me an offer, I need to get my house in order |

Furloughs are coming fellows, big ones. For whatever the reason, legitimate or not, they're here. Ignoring the facts, doesn't make them go away. Get the house in order.
