I don't understand. I thought you guys said retirements and early outs would prevent furloughs? Starting to look like you guys will furlough as many as Delta and United.

Hate to disappoint you, but Warn letters are not Furloughs. And management is currently or soon to be negotiating with APA on "solutions"moving forward. Bottom line, thanks for your concern..but don't worry about it. Your airline has plenty for you to worry about as it is.

Maybe. We are like 1600 over staffed so that would be 600-900 lead or about what the early outs tools out. AA hasn’t released a warn notice number yet.

Meh - don't feed his BS. I looked into his posting history - he's considered a joke even amongst the Delta folks. It's just unfortunate that he decided to slither over here.

Anyway, here's hoping the damage next week isn't as bad as we think. Ugh.

You guys claimed because of your early outs and retirements, you wouldn't need to. You were wrong. I was right. Just call it what it is. No need to be hostile.

Please provide a link/source for these claims.

This crisis has really brought to life the bizarre schadenfreude that exists in this industry. Thankfully, you don’t represent the majority of Delta pilots.

Hopefully you can sleep better at night knowing that others will suffer too. Dick 😉

Now you may have been proven right Mr. Hunter, but insofar as they letter of the law is concerned, you were both right, and you were both wrong. This is the dilemma.....
