I have bought 9 segments over the last month. The cheapest was a round trip transcon purchased two weeks ahead of travel date with a two week stay. Main cabin with a connect through DFW to get cheaper ticket brought it to 600 total. My flight to west coast from clt was oversold to Dallas. Second leg on Skywest CRJ-700 had ~5 open seats

anecdotally I can say there is business travel as well. More than I expected frankly. Everyone I have been seated with was business travel. Obviously not a large enough sample to draw any conclusions but I was encouraged.

Edit: I do not expect this economy to recover in months, it will be years. I just want the politics to get out of the way so we can all get back to work. From what I’ve seen folks are ready to get on with life.

You’re thinking of 23. That ****ing runway. :p

18L was indeed the “100 knot hump” runway due to crossing the crown of 23. It’s been repaved in the past few months, so the hump isn’t as noticeable now.

Something about humping and landing strips.

26 pages later, can anyone crystal-ball furloughs in 2020?

anyway to say "definitely no" or "definitely yes" ?

Thank you

I say definitely yes if we can’t get hundreds more VPLOA takers.

pretty sure I have resurfaced the hump on 18L after my last few landings there! :)
