Anyways....

Back on topic. 2500 WARN notices for pilots.

FettyWap 07-15-2020 01:53 PM

What date I’d hire does that go back to?

4/17 Hire Date.... if that’s what you were asking.

Sorry, I'm slow. Where is this posted? I saw the 25,000 company wide from the e-mail...

It's under News, front page of main Jetnet. Not AA Pilots.

Let's all remember that WARN notices are not furlough notices. Even if they end up furloughing, IF, it won't be 2500 just because 2500 got the WARN letter. That's even touched on down in the Q & A section at the bottom of the announcement.

Thanks guys. I'm so used to not looking at Jetnet for anything actually pilot related, I didn't think to look there!

Yes. Have a friend there that’s a 2018 hire. Was at SWA 18 months before that. Although a 2017 hire at SWA might not be in a great position either.

This whole thing blows

Good luck everyone. Hopefully we don’t use all of them.

I wish all airlines the best of luck. That said , AA needs to pull a rabbit out of a hat, our 2017 pilots will be just fine
