Reports on "The Line" are that we may have some good news on a LOA tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

OK thank you

is that chart correct? we flew more passengers pre-COVID (Jan-Feb-March) than all of 2019, a "record year" as you stated?

In any event, based on the above chart, we are at 2006 levels, post-COVID (which hit in March). So most of 2020 will be spent in "Post COVID" status. 9 months out of the year, 75% of the year.

how many pilots did AA, UAL, DAL, SWA employ in 2006? 2010? 2013?
Yes the 2021 numbers are unknown.

The 2020 bar does not visually represent the severity of covid... it includes Q1.

A total of 3 LOAs approved by APA to mitigate furlough.
Let's see how many will take the early out.

Cheers!

I just skimmed all three letters. I doubt many are going to take that early out offer. Some of the people with a reasonable A fund might, assuming they can start using it (since it's retirement, and not a permanent leave) but beyond that it seems like a pretty poor deal.

I love the zero and alternate month lines with the option to pick up, but how is this going to
mitigate furloughs if the company has no idea what to expect from the pilot group?

Alternate lines you work every other month. Zero credit lines you work or you go
to the box. They aren’t paying you u less you work.

Also, with the zero time lines and alternating ones you can still pick up open time. That's kind of a game changer. Look at LOA 3 or whatever it's called. A junior pilot can volunteer for a zero time line rather than be furloughed and still be able to pick up open time.
