Wait, is “youngster” an ad hominem now? I guess maybe like “ok Boomer” or something…

Reading a financial statement is just the tip of the iceberg. Ed Bastion, who was one of the youngest partners ever at PWC (I used to be an auditor) was overwhelmed when he started to see the inner workings at Delta. Do you really think American is just in the business of flying people? It’s much more than that.

Here, Andy is a kiddo. In the other thread, he flew in Vietnam. YMMV

That's only one of several things AA could do to raise capital if needed.

The Feds printers have run out of ink. The market is currently indicating a potential economic recession in our future. If that happens, it’s over for AA”G”. I heard you boys are ready to start hiring like bonkers, that’s cute, what airline hasn’t been known to hire pilots up until the day they went BK or started furloughing to cover their bottom line???

You boys have too much debt and even more incompetence in the managerial department to survive even the slightest recession. This time you won’t get bailed out either. CEO’s out, that’s got BK written all over it.

I’d suggest you get your apps out, and plan accordingly. But for now enjoy the honeymoon before the inevitable divorce.
Just your friendly monthly reminder.

You boys are HOSED and you don’t even know it.

Your welcome,

You mean the airline with one of the strongest financial positions in the industry right now is in financial trouble? That's hilarious.

Strongest financial positions?
They are almost 8 billion upside down. They are by far the worst off.

You're a year late, AAdvantage is already fully leveraged.
