Then stop whining on a message board and do something about it if you feel it is not fair, not equal, getting bent over, and claiming victim status. Going on and on and on and on and on, here on this forum, isn't a good look for you or Republic pilots.

Cheers and have a good day, I know I am.

What makes you think I'm not doing something about it?

You've taken one message outside of the context of a larger back-and-forth with one person.

Enjoy your day.

Other than the *********s here, everyone wants republic to get this priority.

It’s an issue with the republic pilots, their management and AA management.

The heartburn comes from them deciding to take it out on the uninvolved AA pilots.

Say what you want but if this same situation happened to UA or DL pilots you would feel the same way AA pilots do.

AA pilots and the APA have fully supported the RAH pilots in their endeavor up to this point. We never wanted to place them at the end of the priority list.

I’m not sure how they ended up in their current predicament but i know for a fact it wasn’t bc APA or AA pilots in general wanted them there.

I remember posting that. It doesn’t answer the question though.

Same here. I've always flown planes and thought the airline pilot thing would be fun to give a try. I'm realizing it's not my thing and I'm heading back into my old field.

And for the record I was the regional guy when this happened, thankfully I moved on bc a regional should be nothing more than a stepping stone to move on from, and I didn't lose a wink of sleep over it...but hey rah rah rah unions, yeah!

It was ridiculous. So we simply returned the favor and only aloud an AA pilot on our metal if he/she was the only one to get on via a JS listing. They changed their policy real quick. AA JS is so backwards compared to the rest of the industry, it has only gotten a little better since the merger, thankfully I live in base(former USAir base) and don't have to sweat this crap on a weekly basis. I agree with the RAH pilots on this one too, a couple of AA god complex pilots are making us look real bad.

We said hey if there is an empty seat on your plane can you please fill it. They agreed and that was that. We literally said if we are the last ones at the gate and you have no one else to board can we have a seat...not the same story here but I hope you can take solace in the fact that I have been on the other side before and STILL think you guys are wrong here...i re-read the post I was posting in and I didn’t quite understand then what y’all were seeking, I still do think AA’s OLD way of JSs was ass backwards and we do have some god-complex pilots here but both have been fixed or mostly fixed over time. Y’all do what you feel is right, we did at EDV at the time and it worked, however again it was not asking for priority over ANY pilot no matter who they flew for.

No, but you were advocating for your pilot group were you not? In that case it was Endeavor offering more than one spot for the js but AA didn’t reciprocate. In our case, we offer AAG pilots an elevated priority that is not being reciprocated in return. I don’t mind that you disagree, or even changed your mind from the same problem that you agreed with us (republic pilots) 18 months ago, but I do wonder what changed.

But with due respect, you weren’t offering priority that wasn’t being reciprocated. That’s why you weren’t asking for an elevated priority.
