It's a wasted debate.

APA walked, it's over
Although the republic guys have backed off here, I wonder if they were told that they aren’t helping

your CPA flying is still AA flights. Allowing a contractor to do it, doesn't change the fact of who's flight it is. Today it's you, tomorrow it's PSA. You're a contractor working for AAG, period. You are not the same as AA or any of the sister companies.

You're still OAL trying t get higher priority than other OAL's.
How does that effect all the other jumpseat agreements if we go by your definition of reciprocal? They then will complain that you're getting special treatment, and they'd be right.

Now that your pilot group has done such a great job advertising this unfair treatment of OAL's by both DL and UA, it will be interesting to see how much longer you keep that special perk. I'm almost 100% positive it is not in the written agreement and was them throwing you a bone.
None of this addresses that if we're OAL on AAG, then so too is AAG on Republic flights. The paint job on the side is totally irrelevant to the jumpseat, based on your own logic.

As long as any flights are operated by Republic, they are own metal for Republic and Republic alone. Especially because if I'm not mistaken we own all our AA aircraft. If you or anyone else is on a Republic aircraft, you are OAL, plain and simple. Who may operate it tomorrow is completely irrelevant.

None of the AAG carriers are parent or sister companies to Republic, as you vociferously remind us, so they have no God-given right to priority on any of our flights. We're happy to extend that privilege to them for equal treatment.

You simply can't have it both ways.

You continue to contort your way out of addressing the logical inconsistencies in your argument. You're making up definitions as you go along.

Those are some cute thoughts.

What’s fair/right is debatable. I think the point they’re making is “our flights” for republic don’t exist.

Backed off? More like what's the point? It is not solving anything and nobody is changing their mind here. I can only correct misinformation that you and others continuously spread before I grow bored and move on. I understand why you current Envoy and ex-Envoy guys are so bitter after working for such a horrible organization. Hopefully the FAA shows mercy and doesn't shut that operation down before the woke mob on CNN and Twitter do first.

Is AAG PIC in the cockpit? Did AAG have to commute to operate that Republic flight on an always full AAG flight while maintaining the lowest priority? When that happens then you can say it is your jumpseat.

I have never worked for Envoy. Would only be slightly more enjoyable seeing you guys shut down than it would them. It's a close call.

For the jumpseat that is completely untrue. They are our flights, not AA's, for all matters pertaining to the jumpseat. That is, quite simply, the first rule of the jumpseat.

This is actually the first time I've explicitly seen first hand anyone try and argue that the jumpseat belongs to any carrier other than the operating carrier.

It's a startling sense of entitlement that has no place in the industry.

The jumpseats on Republic-operated flights will be governed by Republic captains, and therefore, Republic policies and procedures. None of AAG, Delta, United, or any other carrier have any say on how our jumpseat will be awarded.

Cujo keeps saying "it's over" because the APA walked away. The negotiations are over, that is apparently true, but this situation is over with Republic changing their FOM to mirror the priority we're granted on AAG jumpseats. Any difficulties that arise therefrom are the responsibility of AAG to rectify.

At least we've dispelled the notion Republic is denying anyone the jumpseat...all AAG pilots will continue to be welcome on Republic jumpseats in the proper priority order as governed by our FOM.

By that do you mean you would like to see us lose our jobs?
